Anolon(R), a global brand of gourmet quality cookware and kitchen products announces its third year partnership with The New York Botanical Garden to help communicate the importance of garden-fresh ingredients in healthy home cooking. This year’s program, entitled the Edible Garden Cooking series, provides families and children visiting America’s prestigious institution in the Bronx, with a series of cooking demonstrations in the Family Garden Kitchen, fully equipped with Anolon gourmet cookware, bakeware, cutlery, tools and gadgets.
“We are delighted to be the presenting sponsor of the Edible Garden Cooking series, which teaches thousands of families about the benefits of growing and cooking fresh seasonal produce,” says Suzanne Murphy, Vice President of Meyer Corporation, U.S. “Our partnership with The New York Botanical Garden perfectly aligns with our brand’s educational campaign, Creating a Delicious Future with Anolon(TM).”
Edible Garden Cooking series kicked-off this summer and will feature a highly anticipated fall harvest weekend celebration on September 24-25. Mega food star, Chef Mario Batali, and other chefs from his restaurants will host seasonal cooking demonstrations staged in the Anolon-outfitted Family Garden Kitchen. Anolon will be present to showcase its newest kitchenware collections, demonstrate and sample tempting recipes prepared by its chefs, distribute educational information for children and parents on energizing breakfast ideas, and conduct drawings for a chance to win an Anolon Nouvelle Copper skillet. Anolon will also appear at The New York Botanical Garden on Saturday, October 8th for more delicious and educational harvest cooking demonstrations.
Anolon cookware featured in the Family Garden Kitchen includes Anolon Nouvelle Copper and the newly launched Anolon Nouvelle Copper Stainless Steel – two high performance lines of gourmet cookware. Both the hard-anodized and stainless steel versions are coupled with a layer of copper that is built into the base. Copper provides the benefit of both fast and even heating. Deep-seated lids lock in both flavors and nutrients when cooking. Anolon Nouvelle Copper features a restaurant-tested and metal utensil safe nonstick interior, while unique flush rivets allow for easy clean-up. Both lines of cookware are suitable for all stove-tops.
As part of its partnership with The New York Botanical Garden, Anolon is offering visitors to the Garden’s web site, www.nybg.org a chance to win an array of Anolon cookware, bakeware, cutlery, tools and gadgets in a special on-line promotion, “What’s That Cooking Tool?” Launching in late August, the promotion continues through end of October.
