I live in an apartment with no air condition (except for the bedroom)- so in the massive heat wave that New York has been getting, my fresh produce is going bad fast!
I’ve tried these Clearly Fresh Bags that are supposed to keep fresh produce fresh longer. Of course I first used these bags on the bananas, which are ALWAYS the first to rot – argh! There was a bit of moisture inside the bag, BUT my bananas did last longer (about a couple of extra days). Maybe even more if my boyfriend didn’t eat them all. hehe.
Then I placed some refrigerator items like Rainer Cherries (so freakin’ good!) and a cucumber. And again, I have to say they have last a few days longer than usual.
Produce is the first thing to go bad in my household, and these bags have definitely made them last longer, resulting in getting our money’s worth on the produce because most of the time they go bad before we can eat them all.
